The OECD Guidelines for multinational enterprises are a corporate social responsibility agreement signed by governments. The Guidelines, which are voluntary in nature, cover labour and environmental standards, human rights and anti-corruption as well as other indicators of responsible business behaviour.  The British Government attaches great importance to the adherence of UK companies to the Guidelines.  If you would like to learn more about the Guidelines, the full text is available at the Department for Business Enterprise & Regulatory Reform's website
